Other Achievement

Dr. M.L Satyanarayana has 35 years of experience in Teaching, Research and diagnostics. He joined   the Department of Veterinary Pathology as an Instructor in the Year 1982 and was actively involved since then in undergraduate teaching and diagnostic work of the department. He has Completed Master’s degree in the year 1986 and PhD degree in the year 1998. He is also actively involved in U G and PG Teaching as well as with departmental and PG research activity. He has guided more than 26 students for Masters and 9 students for PhD degree programme besides serving as member of advisory committee of 110 students of various departments.

He is also involved in organizing training programmes for Veterinarians and Para veterinary staff and organizing national and state seminars and work shop.

He has participated in seminars, workshop and conferences and have presented more than 125 papers in conferences and published more than 95 research papers in reputed journals.

He has also served as honorary Advisor to many poultry breeding farms, feed mills and pharmaceutical companies.

He has served as selection Committee member for other Veterinary universities and also has served as External Examiner for UG and Post-Graduate Courses as well as for Qualifying Examinations and Thesis evaluation of Post graduates.

He is also responsible for initiating and validating anti diabetic properties of several herbal preparations under VGST project, Govt of Karnataka.

Under his guidance, the Department of Veterinary Pathology has established Modern histopathology laboratory, museum under VGST funding & CL Davis international study centre for the benefit of UG and PG students.
