  • Dr. S.P.Arora award for the paper published in Indian Journal of Animal Nutrition as best paper during 2007-08 titled “Effect of diets differing in partitioning factor on dry matter intake, organic matter digestibility and nitrogen metabolism in crossbred lactating cows”. Presented by Animal Nutrition Society of India on 17th December, 2009 in the Inaugural function of 13th Biennial ANSI conference held at NIANP, Bangalore.

Research projects on poultry, small ruminants, tree leaves utilization, sorghum crop residues utilization, weeds as animal feed had been carried out. Published 49 research papers, 1 booklet, 4 books, 16 leaflets, 4 English and 18 kannada popular articles. 5 training manuals. Presented 44 research papers in conferences/symposia/workshops.
