Veterinary Microbiology

Department of Veterinary Microbiology has three separate laboratories; Bacteriology and Mycology laboratory, Immunology laboratory and Virology laboratory for under graduate teaching. The Department is equipped with Biosafety cabinet, Trinocular Research microscope with camera, Deep freezer (-20° C), ELISA reader  along with routinely used laboratory equipments. The Department of Veterinary Microbiology, Veterinary College, Gadag is well equipped with all the facilities as per the recommendation of the Veterinary Council of India for the conduct of both theory and practical classes for the under graduate students. The Department offers entire one year Veterinary Microbiology course for the II B. V. Sc & A.H. students as per the guidelines of MSVE 2016 covering all the topics of bacteriology, mycology, immunology, virology and biotechnology.
