Veterinary and Animal Husbandry Extension Education

As per the MSVE-2016, the department is well established to cater the needs of B.V.Sc and A.H Students to produce quality Veterinary graduates. The department is having a facility of well equipped AV technology laboratory, Museum, Graphic Unit, Mini Seminar Hall etc. The department has implemented world bank funded SUJALA III project on Livestock Support and Extension Activities in Raichur district. The department is regularly organizing Training programmes /Demonstrations/ Health camps/Workshops/Livestock shows and other extension activities for the benefit of middle level extension functionaries and farmers as per the felt needs. The department is also involved in educating livestock rearers through mass and print media.
