Dr. Mahesh S. Dodamani has obtained B.V.Sc &AH and M.V.Sc degree in veterinary Gynecology and Obstetrics from university of agriculture sciences, Dharawad. And Ph.D. in Animal Reproduction, Gynecology and Obstetrics in Karnataka Veterinary, Animal and Fisheries Sciences University Bidar. He has worked as veterinary officer in Bagalkot Govt. of Karnataka and also worked as Assistant Professor in the Department of Gynaecology and Obstetrics, Veterinary College Bidar. Presently working as Assistant Professor (SS) at Canine Research and Information Center (MH) Timmapur, Mudhol dist:Bagalkot. Published more than 20 research and clinical articles in national and international journals. Has experience and instrumental in the establishment of Canine Research and Information Center Timmpur, Mudhol. Recipient of “Young scientist award and best presentation award” by Indian society for the study of Animal Reproduction and Gold medal for the year 2008 and 2009. Recipient of UAS Dharwad’s University gold medal and Late (smt) Saraswati Gurupadappa Nagamarpalli memorial gold medal for highest CGPA in M.V.Sc in Animal Reproduction, Gynaecology and Obstetrics programme. Advisory committee members for more than 03 M.V.Sc students. Undergone many advanced trainings from premium national institutes and resource person for several state level refresher training courses for field veterinarians. The Canine Research & Information Centre, Timmapur, Mudhol has been awarded with the Breed Saviour Award 2015-16 for conservation of Indian Mudhol Hound breed of dog in Karnataka by KVFSU, Bidar.
